Adoption Form

Whether you’ve found a dog you wish to apply for, or you’re not sure which dog is right for you, please fill out an adoption application, and we can work with you to find the right match.

Applications are kept on file for one year, so if you plan to visit the shelter and would like to be pre-approved as an adopter, we welcome your application!

Many dogs at Vucjak Shelter have not yet experienced the warmth and love of a home environment. We assess our animals as best as possible and provide as much information as we can prior to adoption. We ask for your patience and compassion for dogs and cats who require adjustment to their new homes—we know they’re thankful for the opportunity to be part of your family.

We have 1000+ animals at our shelter at any given time, and therefore cannot feature all of them, but will do our best to share them on Vucjak Shelter Admin Team’s social media channels. Please stay up-to-date on our animals via Instagram and Facebook—if there’s a particular animal you’re interested in, please email vucjakshelterteam@gmail.com with a photo or screenshot, and we’ll provide you with as much information as we can.
